Peggy BurkePeggy is a senior at Penn State majoring in Psychology. She previously had an internship at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia where she worked in the Radiology unit with the children and their families. Peggy is a member of Schreyer Honors College and Phi Eta Sigma, as well as Apollo, a THON organization, and worked on the Hospitality Committee for THON 2018. Kennedy WalshKennedy is a junior at Penn State majoring in Psychology with a minor in Neuroscience. Last year Kennedy interned at Maine Medical Center in Portland, Maine where she shadowed a Neurosurgeon. She has also worked as a counselor for both a nature exploration and science camp. After graduation, Kennedy plans on pursuing a Ph.D. in clinical psychology to become a neuropsychologist. When she has free time, Kennedy enjoys drinking coffee and watching football. Julianna StratiJulianna is a junior at Penn State pursuing a degree in Psychology with a minor in Human Development & Family Studies (HDFS). She has worked as the art director for a preschool day camp for the past three summers and had the opportunity to nanny this past summer as well. Julianna was a part of the Dancer Relations Committee for THON 2019 and 2020, and is currently a Family Relations Liaison for the THON 2021 Communications Committee. After graduation, Julianna plans to attend graduate school to earn a Ph.D. in child clinical psychology. Mark LeoneMark is a Senior at Penn State majoring in Biology. He has worked at St. Vincent Hospital emergency department in Erie, PA where he shadowed multiple adult and pediatric physicians. Mark is a member of the Schreyer Honors College and worked on the Dancer Relations Committee for THON 2020. Mark plans on pursuing a career in medicine and specializing in cardiovascular work, both in pediatrics and adults. Mark likes to watch baseball and his favorite team is the New York Yankees. Lauren ZangaraLauren is a junior at Penn State University majoring in Psychology and minoring in Rehabilitation and Human Services. Lauren is a part of the touring organization, Lion Scouts, and has been a part of the Operations Committee for THON the past three years. After graduation, Lauren plans on attending graduate school to earn a Ph.D. in school psychology and pursue a career as a school psychologist. Sundal GhoriSundal is a senior at Penn State majoring in Psychology. She started as a volunteer, then an academic intern, and has eventually become a research assistant. While working for PACT, she is currently working as a research assistant for Dr. Kathryn Glodowski at Penn State Harrisburg. Previously, she was a part of the Multicultural Academic Excellence Program, Thon, and the International Honor Society in Psychology.
