Jennifer Acocella, Kennedy Walsh, and Lauren Zangara present at the Penn State Psi Chi Research Conference

We are so proud of our undergrad research assistants! Jennifer Acocella, Kennedy Walsh, and Lauren Zangara conducted independent research projects this year, and their work was accepted at the Spring 2022 Penn State Psi Chi Research Conference.

This is Jennifer Acocella’s poster, titled Investigating Sex Differences in the Relation Between Puberty and Resting RSA Activity in Adolescents. She worked on this project with Anna Zhou, Michelle Ramos, and Kristin Buss.

Kennedy Walsh, Sarah Myruski, and Kristin Buss collaborated on this poster, Error Related Negativity as a Neurophysiological Correlate of School Anxiety in Adolescents. 

Lauren Zangara presented her poster, Examining Maternal Negative Emotion Expression and Emotion Dismissing Behaviors as Mediators in the Relation Between Maternal Depressive Symptoms and Children’s Behavior Problems. Lauren Zangara, Frances Lobo, and Kristin Buss collaborated on this project.
