Congratulations!! Dr. Kristin Buss named winner of 2016 Raymond Lombra Award for Distinction in the Social Sciences

Kristin Buss, Professor of Psychology, Director of Graduate Training, and Director of PACT and the Harrisburg Center for Healthy Child Development, received the 2016 Raymond Lombra Award for Distinction in the Social Sciences. This award is given to a tenured faculty member in the College of the Liberal Arts who, by his or her outstanding work in the field of social or life sciences, has demonstrated excellence in research and scholarship.

We are proud to announce that Dr. Kristin Buss has been selected as the 2016 recipient of the Raymond Lombra Award for Distinction in the Social Sciences.

This award is given to a tenured faculty member in the College of Liberal Arts who, by his or her outstanding work in the field of social or life sciences, has demonstrated excellence in research and scholarship.

In 2013 this award was endowed and named for former associate dean for research and graduate studies and professor of economics, Raymond Lombra. Ray, in his 18 years as associate dean, greatly increased the College's support for faculty research and thus made a major contribution to the College's rise to national leadership.

Dr. Buss joins a distinguished list of past recipients.  Her relentless dedication and outstanding research contributions to the fields of emotion and social development in early childhood make her a deserving recipient of this honor.

Congratulations Dr. Buss!
